summary:
Electric demister is a gas-liquid separation wet equipment with the minimum fluid resistance for purification. It can be used for acid production from smelting flue gas, tail gas treatment from titanium dioxide calcination, and various acid mist treatment in chemical plants. Electric demisters are commonly used in industries such as sulfuric acid.
Working principle of electric defogger:
By using an electrostatic control device and a direct current high-voltage generator, alternating current is converted into direct current and sent to the defogging device. A strong electric field is formed between the corona wire (cathode) and the acid mist capture plate (anode), which ionizes air molecules and instantly generates a large number of electrons and positive and negative ions. These electrons and ions move in a directional manner under the action of the electric field force, forming the medium for capturing acid mist. At the same time, the acid mist particles are charged, and these charged acid mist particles undergo directional motion under the action of electric field force, reaching the anode plate that captures the acid mist. Afterwards, the charged particles release electrons on the electrode plate, causing the acid mist to accumulate and flow into the acid storage tank of the acid mist remover under the action of gravity, thus achieving the purpose of purifying the acid mist.
